BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
  • Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
  • When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
  • Place the device in a well ventilated space.

USE

  • Smear the plates with butter, margarine or cooking fat.
  • Fit the plug into the wall socket, the red light will turn on.
  • Close the samosa maker and prepare the ingredients while the appliance is heating up, when the samosa maker is ready the green light will turn on.
  • Fully open the samosa maker. Put the dough on the bottom plate and add all ingredients and put the second layer of dough.
  • Close the cover and lock with the lock clip.
  • Your samosa will be toasted in 3 to 7 minutes, the exact time will depend on the ingredients and your preference.
  • Open the cover and remove the Samosa by using a plastic or wooden spatula, never use a metal utensil as this will damage the coating.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool both halves open.
  • Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or soft brush.
  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
  • Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
