Loading automix data

Here's how to load automix data that you've saved.
1.
Press (click) [UTILITY]. Then press (click) PAGE 3 [F2 (A.MIX)]. The
automix screen will appear.

Press (click) [F3 (LOAD)]. The automix load screen will appear.
3.
Move the cursor to the number of the automix data that you want to load.
Press (click) [F5 (OK)], and the display will ask "Load AUTOMIX Pattern?"
4.
To load the data, press [ENTER/YES] (click [YES]). The automix data will
be loaded. If you decide not to load it, press [EXIT/NO] (click [NO]).
Using the mouse to perform phrase
TRIM-IN/TRIM-OUT
In Phrase Edit mode, when you move the mouse cursor close to either end of a
phrase displayed in the play list, the mouse cursor will change shape. At this point,
you can drag to set the trim-in or trim-out of the phrase.

Press [HOME (DISPLAY)] (click "HOME"). The home screen will appear.
2.
Press [REGION/PHRASE] to switch to PHRASE editing (green). From the
VGA screen, click the "Edit mode (REGION/PHRASE) select switch" so
it's at "PHRASE" (green). This puts you in Phrase Edit mode.

Position the mouse cursor so it's near the beginning of the phrase for which
you want to adjust the trim-in. Alternatively, move the mouse cursor so it's
near the end of the phrase for which you want to adjust the trim-out. The
mouse cursor will change shape.
4.
Now drag the mouse. The phrase will become longer or shorter.

Enhanced Grid Function

The Grid function lets you snap the edit point to the beginning of measures or beats.
From version 2.00, you can select the edit points for which the Grid function will be
enabled (Grid Mode).

The second page of Global parameters will be displayed.

Select the "GRID MODE."
• Only TO:
You will be able to set only the To point to the beginning of a measure or
beat.
• ALL EDIT POINT:
You will be able to set all edit points (In/Out/From/To points) to the
beginning of a measure or beat.
Functionality added in Version 2.00
When you load an automix,
the currently held automix
data will be lost. If you do
not want to lose the current
automix data, save it before
you load other automix
data.
Trim-in and trim-out
operations using the mouse
are possible only in Phrase
Edit mode.
When extending a phrase
by dragging its end, it is
not possible to extend the
phrase beyond the length
(actual time) of the original
phrase (take).
"GRID MODE" is valid
when the Grid function is
on.
The grid will be
temporarily disabled if you
hold down [CLEAR] and
operate the mouse.
