Perceived fault
Cause/Description
The outdoor unit does

not stop

Faults with indication

A fault on the appliance can also be indicated by the sequential flashing
of the following lights:
• ON indicator K (green)
• Timer lamp
(orange)
• WLAN lamp
(green)
The number of flashing signs specify the number of the fault codes.
When the fault 23 – 4 occurs for example, the ON indicator K (green)
flashes twice, then the timer light
WLAN light
(green) flashes 4 times.
Error code structure
The error code consists of a main code and a sub code:

Retrieving the error code
▶ Press / on the Temp. button for over 5 seconds when the indoor unit
and remote control is off.
The remote control displays 00 and there is a beep sound from the
unit's buzzer.

Maintenance

CAUTION
Danger due to electric shock or moving parts
▶ Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any maintenance
work.
▶ Have any maintenance steps that are not listed here carried out by an
approved contractor.
5.1

Change of seasons

Before and after change of seasons perform the following for proper
operation:
▶ Operate the unit in self clean mode to dry the unit.
▶ The unit will stop operation after 90 minutes or stop the operation by
pressing the Stop button on the remote control when completed, and
turn the circuit breaker off.
▶ Inspect air filters and remove for cleaning.
▶ Reinstall air filters and check for any obstructions on the inlet and
outlet of airflow.
5.2

Cleaning the unit and the remote control

NOTICE
Damage to unit due to incorrect cleaning!
▶ Do not directly splash or pour water onto them.
▶ Do not use hot water, thinner, abrasive powders or strong solvents.
▶ Clean indoor unit and remote control by wiping them with a soft cloth.
▶ Only have the outdoor unit cleaned by an approved contractor.
5.3

Cleaning of air filter

The filter should be cleaned every two weeks.
▶ Switch off the appliance.
▶ Remove the air filter by lifting it at the handles provided ( Fig. 3).
▶ Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
▶ If the filter is dirty, wash it with hot water and a mild cleaning agent.
▶ Dry the filter in the shade before reinstalling.
▶ Reinstall the filter by engaging the hooks of the filter in the holes in
the appliance ( Fig. 4).
5.4

Cleaning the plasmacluster ion unit (PCI unit)

Regular cleaning allows for a stable release of high concentrations of
plasmacluster ions. Clean the PCI unit ( Fig. 5), [1] every 6 months.
▶ Turn off the safety switch.
▶ Open the air baffle.
