Ice maker Problems

Raised shut-off arm

Broken or bent shut-off arm

Shut-off arm stuck or obstructed

Ice maker not level

Can't level ice maker

Open thermostat (won't close below 17˚F)

Closed thermostat (won't open above 32˚F)

Thermostat out of calibration

Heater not staked in mold

Won't cycle test with power available

Won't eject ice with power available

Action

Lower shut-off arm to "ON" position

Repair arm or replace ice maker

Remove obstruction

Check level of refrigerator ﬁrst, then level ice maker

Level refrigerator ﬁrst, then try again

Replace thermostat

Replace ice maker
