    3. Introduction 3.1 Introduction ® The LT-20/LT-20P is a LoRa compliant solar tracker. The LT-20 is a cattle tracker. The LT-20P is a compact asset tracker.     4. Device Operation 4.1 Device Charging Using the device for the first time, rechargeable battery will require the proper charge before LT-20/LT-20P is operable. To maximize your device’s battery life, proceed by performing the steps listed below. 1. Connect cradle to AC power adapter via micro USB cable. 2.

    4.2 Function Button 1. To turn the device “ON”, press and hold the function button for 1 second and release the function button. Then the BLE LED would blink quickly.     4.3 Parameter Settings via iOS App 1. Install LT-20 App as the following link https://apps.apple.com/tw/app/lt-20/id1492856834 from App store or QR code below. It would have icon as following. 2. Make sure you turn on BLE for mobile device and open LT-20 App. 3.
  • Page 10 5. Then FW version, LoRa MAC, device battery level, App Version would be shown at the bottom of menu. You could modify parameters by entering into each item of menu, for example, LoRaWAN, GPS, Operation Mode etc.
  • Page 11 6. When entering into LoRaWAN settings, you could modify Join Mode, DevAddr, AppSKey, NwkSKey, Tx_Band etc. Please adjust these settings according to network server’s settings carefully. Otherwise, it will cause network server connection issue. After modifying all the settings, click Apply button to write all these settings to the device.
  • Page 12 7. When entering into BLE Beacon/Wi-Fi Setting, you would see Enable Ble Beacon(O2) and Enable Wi-Fi Scan AP(W3) are on as default setting for new customer FW(F-0LR-3Q-2002271). Please set Enable Wi-Fi Scan AP(W3) to 0 to disable it. LT-20 doesn’t have Wi-Fi function, and only LT-20P could support it.
  • Page 13 White list Beacon ID could be used as mask. It is a filter for BLE beacons (white list) to be able to filter out unwanted BLE beacons. For example, the user sets Beacon ID white list is “30000001”. When the device receives any beacon signal which first 4 bytes of UUID are “30000001”, the device will accept this data and send beacon report with this beacon’s MAC...
  • Page 14 8. You could also adjust tracker’s settings by modifying some parameters in GPS/ Operation Mode/Other Setting and click Apply button to write your settings to device.

    4.4 Firmware Upgrade via iOS App I. Put firmware file to firmware upgrade tool via iTunes 1. Download iTunes for Windows system and connect mobile device with PC. 2. Allow the access for iTunes to connect to mobile device by responding ok in its screen.

  • Page 18 5. Drag the firmware file (zip file) to the right side which is called LT-20 Documents and click Done button.
