[-24]
When the super freeze function is activated, the ap-
pliance operates at maximum power to speed up the
freezing process.
The super freeze function switches off after about
52 hours automatically. The internal temperature
adjusts to the preset temperature.
The function can be ended at any time before the
switch-off time has elapsed.

than one minute, an acoustic signal sounds.
The symbol
flashes in the display.
Press the ALARM button or close the appliance door
to stop the acoustic signal.
Starting the appliance
• Connect the appliance to the power supply.
• Set the operating conditions. See also the follow-
ing sections.
Settings
Basically, the temperature changes depending on the
ambient temperature (place of installation), the fre-
quency of opening the door and the equipment.
For initial operation, first set the lowest possible in-
ternal temperature (= highest power level) or activate
the super freeze function until the appliance has
reached the desired operating temperature. It is rec-
ommended to reset to a medium power level after-
wards, then you can easily make any temperature
correction.
lights up.
Recommendation, for optimized food storage and to
avoid food waste, a medium power level is generally
best. A high power level also increases energy con-
sumption.
To be able to check the cooling performance, you
ideally need a freezing thermometer. Place it in the
appliance.
The ideal temperature is -18°C. A less cold tempera-
ture setting may shorten food durability.
Equipment
Note that the equipment varies depending on the
appliance type.
The various shelves or drawers can be removed for
individual storage. Also practical for cleaning purpos-
es.
NOTE:
For the most efficient use of energy, place all
shelves/drawers in their original positions.
Removing / inserting the drawers
• To remove the drawer, pull it out to the front, in-
cline it if necessary and remove it.
• Insert the drawer, if necessary, lift the front part of
the drawer slightly and push it in completely.
Ice cube tray
Depending on the model, an ice cube tray for making
ice cubes is included with the appliance.
• Fill the ice cube tray about ¾ full of drinking wa-
ter. Then place the tray flat in the freezer for a few
hours.
• To release the ice cubes from the tray more easi-
ly, you can briefly hold the tray under warm water.
