When in use, keep the hot plate a minimum of 4-6 inches away from walls or cabinets for
proper ventilation. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface and in a well-ventilated area.
Place the appliance on a dry and horizontal surface. Do not block the cool air inlet and fan.
A fire may occur if the Induction Cooktop is covered or touching flammable material, such as
curtains, draperies, walls, etc., while in operation.
Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum foil on
the cooktop.
Do not place any flammable materials in or on the Induction Cooker, such as paper cardboard,
plastic, etc.
Always pull the plug out from the wall outlet. Never pull on the cord to remove it from the
wall outlet.
If the electric circuit in use is overloaded with other appliances, this appliance may not
operate properly. The appliance should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from
other operating appliances.
Clean the appliance regularly, as a build-up of grease poses a fire hazard.
Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces may break off the pad and damage electrical
parts, creating a risk of electric shock. Metal-scouring pads may also damage the finish.
Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
Clean the cooktop with caution. If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot
cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn. Some cleaners can produce noxious fumes
if applied to a hot surface.
Do not attempt to move the appliance with cookware on top.
Extreme caution must be used when moving any pot or pan containing hot oil or other hot
liquids from this appliance.
Do not place objects heavier than 25 pounds on the Cooktop surface.
Do not touch the heating element or the body of the Induction Cooktop while it is in operation
as it can get extremely hot.
The Induction Cooktop heating element will remain hot for some time, even after it has
been turned off. Allow the Induction Cooktop to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
Ensure that the power cord does not come in contact with any hot surfaces on the Induction
Cooktop.
Do not leave the Induction Cooktop unattended while it is in operation.
Keep the cooktop unit away from other heat sources.
Use pots and pans with even bottoms for cooking on the Induction Cooktop.
Remember to turn OFF and disconnect the Induction Cooktop from power when it is not in use.
The cookware used on the Induction Cooktop should not extend beyond the Induction
Cooktop or block access to the Power Mode control knob.
CAUTION: This cooktop unit emits an electromagnetic field, therefore people with
pacemakers should consult with their physician before using.
