The intensity of the magnetic field is measured in Gauss (G), whereas the activity time of the device, including both emissions and pauses, is referred to as Duty Cycle (DC).

The action is strictly connected to the ability of tissue components to react to the phenomenon of magnetic induction. INDICATIONS ABOUT PROGRAMS You will find some general guidelines about the programs in the various devices marked Magnum shown below.
  • Page 31 Fractures: the programs for fractures can be used from the very first days after the traumatic event. The treatment can also be carried out over plaster casts and guards. In this case we suggest to increase the recommended power by 50-60% since the thickness of the plaster cast increases the distance between the solenoids and the bone.

As a matter of fact, pulsed magnetic fields promote the engraftment of the prosthesis and any bone graft.
