  • Page 2 Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Heat Stress Monitor Model SK-181GT. This product is for measuring temperature, globe temperature, humidity and WBGT Index*. Do not use it for other purposes. * The heat index (WBGT) is an abbreviation for Wet Bulb Globe temperature, and is an index used to evaluate the heat stress (thermal environment) of workers defined in “ISO7243 / JIS Z8504”.

    Do not block the vent of the temperature / humidity detector.   When wearing the instrument, do not cover the instrument with clothing.  When measuring in a sunny place, make sure that the entire globe is exposed to direct sunlight. Do not let obstacles or clothing block the direct sunlight.
