Making a call using international dial assist
Using international dial assist to call another country or area from
overseas enables you to easily make international phone calls.
• You need to turn on the automatic phone number converter function for
international dial assist in advance (P.131).
• The "0" at the front of the area number will automatically be converted to
the preset country number.

• When international dial assist screen appears, tap "Call by WORLD
CALL".

Making a call within the country you stay
You can make a call to a land-line phone or mobile phone in the same way
as in Japan.

Enter the phone number
• To call a land-line phone, input the area code (city code) and then
the person's phone number that you want to call.

• When "international dial assist" screen appears, tap "Call without int'l
prefix".

If you call to the other party who is using international roaming, even when
he/she is in the country you stay, please make an international call to
Japan.
• Regardless of in what country you stay, the communication is always
performed via Japan.
+ (touch and hold "0") - 81 (Country code of Japan) - phone number
omitting leading "0".
Receiving a call in the country you stay
You can receive a call in overseas in the same way as in Japan.
Information
• When you receive a call during the international roaming, regardless
of which country or area the call is from, it is forwarded internationally
from Japan. A caller is charged for a call fee to Japan, and the
receiver is charged for a reception fee.
Making a call from the other party
■ To have the other party in Japan call you overseas
If someone wants to call you while you are overseas from a land line or
mobile phone in Japan, all they have to do is dial your phone number as
if you were in Japan.
■ To have the other party make a call from outside Japan to the
country you stay
Regardless of countries, you will receive a call via Japan. The other party
should dial with prefix an international access code and "81" (Country
code of Japan).
