Connecting the Power Source

There are two ways to connect power source.
- Using the AC Power Adapter : used for indoor shooting.
- Using the Battery Pack: used for outdoor shooting.

To use AC Power Adapter

1. Connect the AC Power Adapter to a AC cord.
2. Connect the AC cord to a wall socket.
Note: The plug and wall socket type can be
different according to the regional
conditions.
3. Connect the other end of the DC cable to
DC jack of the camcorder.
4. To set the camcorder to CAMERAmode.
a. Hold down the tab of the power switch and
push the switch to CAMERAmode.
b. Set LOCK/STANDBY switch to STANDBY
mode.
c. Make sure that the Lens Cap is opened.
d. Make sure that the image appears in the
Viewfinder.
Note: If the adapter is used next to the TV or the camcorder, it may
cause the TV or camcorder to emit noise. Move the adapter
away from the TV, camcorder or the antenna cable.

1. Verbinden Sie das Netzanschlußkabel mit dem
Netzadapter.
2. Schließen Sie das Netzanschlußkabel
Steckdose an (Netzanschluß 100 - 240 V AC,
50/60 Hz).
Hinweis: Stecker und Steckdose können je
nach Land unterschiedlich aussehen.
3. Verbinden Sie das vom Netzadapter kommende
DC-Kabel mit dem DC-Anschluß am
4. Schalten Sie den Camcorder wie folgt in den
Aufnahme-Bereitschaftsmodus:
a. Drücken Sie auf die Zunge am Schalter für den
Betriebsmodus, und stellen Sie den Schalter auf
CAMERA.
b. Stellen Sie den Schalter LOCK/STANDBY auf
STANDBY .
c. Stellen Sie sicher, daß die Objektivkappe
abgenommen wurde.
d. Stellen Sie sicher, daß auf dem Suchermonitor
das erfaßte Bild wiedergegeben wird.
Hinweis: Wird der Adapter in unmittelbarer Nähe
eines Fernsehers oder des Camcorders
eingesetzt, so können Störgeräusche im
Fernseher oder Camcorder auftreten.
Entfernen Sie den Adapter vom Fernseher,
Camcorder oder Antennenkabel.
