Board Information

The figures below indicate the main COM Express module locations on this carrier
board. 10GB LAN cards are designed as OCP mezzanine cards. There are two types
of 10GB LAN cards with different 10G PHY chips by part number; SOM-EA60/62/64
supports 10GBASE-T via RJ45 connectors, and the SOM-EA61/63/65 supports fiber
cable using SFP+ connectors, SOM-EA60/61/62/63 built with 10G sideband signal to
operates on the SOM-DB5920 A1, the SOM-EA64/65 is based on CEI mode (side-
band signal) to operates on the SOM-DB5920 A2. Users can test LAN functions by
different mediums via the corresponding OCP card of this carrier board.
