• Insert the tabs on the rear edge of the hood into the
slots in the front of the dashboard.
• Pull the hood forward. Lower the hood closed.

• Using a slotted screwdriver, turn each lock fastener in
the hood / turn to the locked

IMPORTANT! Remember to keep the lock fasteners
locked at all times to prevent children from accessing
the vehicle battery compartment.

Brush Guard

• Fit the brush guard to the front end of the vehicle.
Hint: Using the end of a Phillips screwdriver, poke a
hole in the thin plastic covering over the lower holes in
the brush guard.
• Insert two #10 x 1" (2,5 cm) screws through the lower
holes in the brush guard and into the front end of the
vehicle. Tighten the screws.

• Fit the spacers between the upper holes of the brush
guard and the front end of the vehicle
• Insert two #8 x 4" (10,2 cm) screws through the two
upper holes in the brush guard, through the spacers
and into the front end of the vehicle
