Open the packaging and take out the
equipment with care.

Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
present).

Check to see if all the items are supplied.

Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.

If possible, keep the packaging until the end
of the guarantee period.

3. Intended use

This hedge trimmer is suitable for cutting hedges,
bushes and shrubs.

prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to
be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not

5. Before starting the equipment

5.1 Installing the battery (Fig. 3)
Press the push-lock button of the battery as
shown in Fig. 3 and push the battery into the
mount provided. When the battery is positioned
as in Fig. 1, make sure that the push-lock button
latches in place! To remove the battery, proceed
in reverse order.
5.2 Charging the Lithium-Ion battery
The corresponding instructions can be found
in the original operating instructions for your
charger.
