SELF-WATERING
PLACING YOUR FABRIC POT
Set your fabric pot on top of the drain
plate. Lift up your fabric pot when making
adjustments. Twisting and rotating the fabric
pot while it is resting on the pot base will
pull the wick lines away from the water and
disrupt the self-watering action.
The wick lines will feed a steady stream of
water and water-soluble fertilizer up to the
lower third of your fabric pot and create a
small buffer for air circulation.
Use of potting mixes containing peat moss
and/or coco coir is recommended to best
ensure water delivery up to your plant's roots.

Replace wick lines that start to unravel,
discolor, or stop delivering water.
