Preparation For Installation
Extender Trims are designed to be installed in furniture on a flat, vertical surface.
This Installation Guide must be read in conjunction with the PowerHub/PowerHub Mini and MediaHub/
MiniClip Installation Guides. These guides include Important Safety Instructions which must be followed.
Ensure the location chosen for the equipment complies with the requirements of the "Important Safety
Instructions" in the PowerHub/PowerHub Mini/MediaHub/MiniClip Installation Guides.
A cutout will need to be made in the furniture. After the cutout is prepared the only tools you will need are a
medium sized cross head screwdriver.
At least two standard 3-pin US 120V outlets will be required. Some combinations of MiniClip Modules may
require additional outlets.

- Page 2 NOTE: The trim has notches for removal that need to face downward so they are unseen once the trim is installed. For this reason the mounting plate is NOT REVERSIBLE. Make sure the PowerHub is on the LEFT and the MediaHub or MiniClip is on the RIGHT.

- Page 4 Installation The following instructions apply to all extender trims. Depending on the trim, PowerHub is used here to refer to PowerHub or PowerHub Mini, and media module refers to either MediaHub or MiniClip Module(s) mounted in the supplied carrier. Step 1 Transfer the dimensions from the appropriate cutout above or use the mounting plate itself to trace the cutout size onto the surface of the furniture.
