IMPORTANT: Only use Hoover carpet cleaning solution. Using other solutions may cause excess foaming. Excessive foam will prevent the machine from working effectively. Using other solutions will invalidate the guarantee.
  • Page 7 OPERATION Operating your carpet washer Remove the detergent tank cap and pour required carpet/hard floor cleaning solution into tank. Tighten cap before returning tank to unit. Wash/Rinse/Max Extract switch The wash/rinse/max extract switch allows you to easily change from cleaning your carpet with a solution/water mix, rinsing with water only, and solely extracting water and solution from your carpet.

  • Page 9 OPERATION Washing hard floors CAUTION: To prevent damage to wood floors and other hard floors, follow the flooring manufacturer’s cleaning recommendations. NOTE: If using cleaner on sealed wood floors, inspect floor surface for worn finish, bare wood or separated joints. It’s not recommended to use the cleaner on wood floors if any of these conditions exist.
