Check the correct air throughput by holding a sheet of
paper a distance of 10 cm in front of the air outlet
grille. The paper must be blown away from the air
outlet grille.
6.1 Fitting the castors (Fig. 2 – 3)
Important! To prevent damage, place the radiator
upside down on a soft surface (for example a carpet).
Slide the fastening bar (a) under the radiator
n
element and secure the castors carrier with the
wing nuts (b). Repeat the above on the last space
between the ribs.

7. Operation

If the equipment should topple or fall over, the power
supply will be cut off by a safety switch integrated in
the equipment. The power supply resumes as soon as
the equipment is stood upright again.
7.1 Function switches (Fig. 4 / Item 4):
Low heat output – Switch in position „I"
n
Medium heat output – Switch in position „II"
n
Maximum heat output – Switch in position „I+II"
n
The possible output levels are listed in the technical
data in point 5.
7.2 Thermostat control/room temperature control
(Fig. 4 / Item 3)
Note: When the equipment is moved to a new
location, the thermostat will not work properly until the
equipment has adopted the ambient temperature.
Switch on the required output using the two function
switches. Turn the control to "MAX" until the required
room temperature has been reached. Then turn down
the control until you hear a clear click. The thermostat
control will switch the radiator on and off automatically
to maintain the room temperature at an almost
constant level. This assumes that the heater has
sufficient output for the room you want to heat.
7.3 PTC quick heater (Fig. 5)
You can switch the PTC quick heater (10) on and
n
off with the switch (6).
Note: The PTC quick heater will work only if the room
temperature set on the thermostat control is higher
than the actual room temperature. The timer switch
must also be ON (see section 7.4).
Objects must be at least 1 m from the air outlet
(Fig. 5 / Item 10).
10
7.4 Timer switch (Fig. 5)
The timer switch (5) will run only as long as the
equipment is connected to the power supply. The
equipment is actuated by the switch (a) integrated in
the timer. The settings have the following meanings:
Setting „I" = The equipment can be switched ON and
OFF only manually
Setting „Clock symbol" = Automatic mode; the
equipment is switched ON and OFF automatically.
Various heating phases can be programmed with the
timer switch. For automatic mode, set the correct time
of day by turning the scale in clockwise direction. The
arrow on the timer switch indicates the set time. The
switch-on time can be set by pulling out the segments
(b), the switch-off time by pushing in the segments
(b).
Each segment corresponds to a period of 15 minutes.
The set program will repeat itself every 24 hours.
7.5 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating the appliance will shut
down automatically. If this occurs, turn off the
equipment, disconnect the mains plug and wait a few
minutes for the equipment to cool. The appliance can
be switched on again after you have eliminated the
cause of the overheating. If the overheating guard
triggers repeatedly, please contact ISC GmbH.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
8.1 Cleaning
Before carrying out any cleaning and
n
maintenance work the equipment must be turned
off, disconnected from the power supply and
cooled down.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
n
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
n
8.2 Servicing
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
n
out by an electrical servicing contractor or ISC
GmbH.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for signs
n
of defects or damage. A damaged mains lead
may only be replaced by an electrician or ISC
GmbH in compliance with the relevant
regulations.
There are no parts inside the equipment which
n
require additional maintenance.
The ribs are filled with a special oil. Repairs that
n
necessitate the oil seal to be opened may only be
carried out by ISC GmbH. If oil leaks from the
appliance, return it to ISC GmbH for examination.
