Operating the moniceiver
To perform the installation and the electrical connection, proceed as follows:
➤ Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
➤ Remove any existing audio system.
➤ Install the 2 DIN installation sleeve (fig. 7, page 5).
➤ Bend the retaining tabs up, down and out at the sides in order to fix the housing
securely in the centre console (fig. 8, page 6).
➤ Attach the fastening brackets to the device with the fastening screws provided
(M5 X 6)(fig. 9, page 6).
➤ Connect the device to the electrical system in accordance with the circuit
diagram (fig. b, page 8).
➤ Conduct a function test before finally installing the device.
➤ Remove the two screws from the top of the device (fig. 9 1 page 6).
➤ Place the device into the slot and secure it with the fastening screws provided
(fig. 0 1 page 7).
➤ Fit the cover frame (fig. a 1 page 7).

NOTE
• If the moniceiver is connected to the handbrake switch, then no
video can be played during the journey.
In the settings the Parking function can be set to ON . Then the
message "WARNING Do not watch videos while driving" will
appear during the journey as soon as videos are played (see chapter
"Video settings menu" on page 58).
This avoids the risk that the driver is distracted by the screen during
the journey. The passengers on the rear seats can view the selected
video.
• If a reversing video camera is connected to the moniceiver, the
camera is switched on when the reverse gear is engaged.
