Technical description
The moniceiver is located in a housing which occupies two slots in the vehicle's
centre console.
The device can be connected to the handbrake switch. In this way, and for safety
reasons, no video can be played on the installed display while you are driving. The
display will only switch on if the vehicle is stationary and the handbrake is in use.
If a reversing video camera is connected to the moniceiver, then the device can be
set so that the camera automatically switches on when the reverse gear is engaged.
With the moniceiver you can listen to music in your vehicle, watch videos, view
photos or make calls using the hands-free system.
The moniceiver allows you to play videos on DVD, audio CDs or MP3, WMA or JPEG
files, as well as files on USB data carriers and memory cards. Photos stored on data
carriers can be played in a slide show.
You can also show movies and images, from DVDs/VCDs/CDs, USB data carriers
and memory cards, on the display or on a connected monitor (Rear Seat Entertain-
ment – RSE).
The radio receives medium wave (AM1 and AM2) and ultra short wave (FM1, FM2
and FM3). Six radio stations can be stored for each frequency band. The radio has
RDS reception e.g. with AF function (alternative frequency) and TA function (priority
for traffic reports).
