10.4.4 Replacing the return valve
To replace the return valve, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the power supply to the boiler;
2. Close the gas cock;
3. Cut off the gas supply to the boiler.
4. Close the heating system return and flow cocks.
5. Drain the system, if possible only the boiler, using the specific drain
cock.
6. Empty the water from the domestic water circuit by opening a user
cock.
7. Disconnect any piping connections.
8. Remove the hall effect sensor (1).
9. Remove the clip (2).
10. Disconnect the pump (3).
11. Remove the fastener (4).
12. Remove the valve from the heat exchanger (5).
13. To re-assemble, perform the above actions in reverse order.

10.4.5 Replacing the 3-way valve

To replace the diverter valve, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the power supply to the boiler;
2. Close the gas cock;
3. Cut off the gas supply to the boiler.
4. Close the heating system return and flow cocks.
5. Drain the system, if possible only the boiler, using the specific drain
cock.
6. Empty the water from the domestic water circuit by opening a user
cock.
7. Disconnect any piping connections.
8. Remove the clip (1).
9. Remove the pressure sensor (2).
10. Remove the fixing spring (3).
11. Remove the safety valve (4).
12. Remove the motor fixing spring (5).
13. Remove the motor (6).
14. To re-assemble, perform the above actions in reverse order.

Pressure Sensor
1. Drain the primary circuit and undo the nut on the pressure gauge ca­
pillary.
2. Ease the two retaining tabs holding the pressure gauge bracket
away and remove the bracket.
3. Remove the gauge assembly.
4. Examine the sealing washer on the pressure gauge capillary, re­
place if necessary.
5. Reassemble in reverse order with the new pressure gauge.
