2. Starting/warming up the coffee machine
• Use only capsules that are specific for this model.
• Insert the plug of the power cord into the electrical socket.
• Switch on the appliance with the main switch (9).(Fig. 5)
• When the led (2) turns on, the coffee machine is ready for
use (Fig. 5).

• The control buttons will start flashing. Once the right
temperature is reached, they will illuminate steadily, indicating
that the machine is ready for use.

Rinsing the machine/inner circuits

The machine should be rinsed both at its very first use and
when it has been inoperative for a long spell of time. By
performing this quick procedure, you will ensure that all inner
circuits are rinsed.
•Ensure that there are no capsules inside the unit; power on
the machine pressing the main switch (9) (Fig. 5)
•Place a large empty cup under the coffee/tea/drinks
dispenser. (Fig. 6)
• Press the buttons (3) or
Auto or Plus) will dispense water. Press the buttons (3) or
(D) again, when the desired quantity has been dispensed.

The machine is deemed to have been properly rinsed when
at least 3 glasses of water have been dispensed.
NOTE
According to the cup to be used (small or big cup) it is
possible to change the grid.
If you use a big cup, place the cup directly on the drawer
grid (6) (Fig. 6)
To prepare a proper espresso, insert the grid for small cups
(5) in the dedicated support (Fig. 7)
