Recording a still image from
external equipment
Before operation
Set DISPLAY to LCD in the menu settings. (The
default setting is LCD.)
(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) Play back the recorded tape, or turn the TV on
to see the desired programme.
The picture from TV or VCR appears on the
screen of your camcorder.
(3) Follow the steps 3 and 4 on page 184.
Using the A/V connecting cable
VCR/
Videorecorder
: Signal flow/Signaalstroom
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video jack on the VCR or the TV.
If your TV or VCR has an S video jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional).
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S video
jacks of both your camcorder and the TV or VCR.

Voordat u een beeld gaat overnemen
Zet het onderdeel DISPLAY in het instelmenu op
"LCD". (De oorspronkelijke instelling is ook
"LCD".)
(1) Zet de POWER schakelaar in de "VCR" stand.
(2) Start de weergave van de videocassette met
de gewenste opnamen of schakel het TV-
toestel in om het gewenste programma te
zien.
De beelden van de aangesloten TV of
videorecorder worden nu ook weergegeven
op het scherm van uw camcorder.
(3) Volg de aanwijzingen 3 en 4 op blz. 184.
Opnemen via het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer
S VIDEO
Sluit de gele stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer aan op de video-uitgang van de
videorecorder of het TV-toestel.
Als uw TV-toestel of videorecorder een S-
video ingangsaansluiting biedt
Maak de aansluiting dan met een S-video
aansluitsnoer (los verkrijgbaar) om de beste
beeldkwaliteit te verkrijgen.
Bij deze wijze van aansluiten hoeft u de gele
(video) stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer niet aan te sluiten.
Sluit het S-video snoer (los verkrijgbaar) aan op
de S-video stekkerbussen van uw camcorder
enerzijds en uw TV-toestel of videorecorder
anderzijds.
