    Step 2 Inserting a cassette When you want to record in the Hi8 system, use Hi8 video cassette . (CCD-TR717E/TR918E only) (1) Prepare the power supply (p. 13).     W indicator flashes in the viewfinder for about 5 seconds when you set the POWER switch to CAMERA. In this case, replace the battery with a Sony CR2025 lithium battery. Use of any other battery may present a risk of fire or explosion. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
