OVERHEATING PROTECTION

This unit is equipped with overheating protection for its power supply.
This unit is equipped with overheating protection for its power supply.
The welding power source has overheating protection that operates if the internal temperature
becomes too high. When this occurs, the welding current is interrupted, and an overheating
symbol appears on the display. The overheating protection resets automatically when the
temperature has returned to normal working temperature.

SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION WHILE WELDING

To prolong the useful life of a TIG tungsten electrode and eliminate tungsten contamination to
welding point special circuitry is included.
In all TIG processes, after the welding arc has established, if the tungsten electrode touches the
work the current defaults to 33 amps. If the short exists for more than 1-2 seconds, the output
is turned off.
In STICK mode, if the electrode touches the work for more than two seconds the welding
current is reduced to zero Amps.
