STEP 1 :
Aligning Tracks on Vehicle
A. Align tracks on the inner side of the roof
ditch mouldings. See Fig. 1a
B. Position tracks so that the front og the
Closed End Cap is aligned with the centre
of the B-Pillar. See Fig. 1b
STEP 2:
Marking and Drilling Holes.
A. Mark holes in Tracks onto vehicle roof using a felt tip pen.
B. Drill all marked holes u sing a 5mm drill bit and carefully remove drilling swarf.
The use of a drill stop is recommended as only the roof panel i s to be drilled.
Use caution as to not damage the interior roof lining.
NOTE: Ensure that all components are correctly positioned, as described within these Fitting Instructions,
before proceeding to drill holes - always double check.
C. Seal i n and around all holes with Butyl Mastic .
STEP 3 :
Riveting Tracks to Vehicle Roof
A. Remove the paper backing from Backing
Tape on the underside of all T racks.
B. Reposition Tracks in place on the vehicle roof
C. Fit End C aps at each end of Tracks
beneath Backing T ape (See Fig. 5a).
D. Rivet Tracks to vehicle roof using
Rivets supplied.
