General information

Change default codes.
Do not lubricate electronic locks.
The diameter of the cable hole should be maximum 12mm.
The hole must be deburred well to avoid damage to the cable.
Do not perform any welding on the safe after keypad and lock mounting: electronic boards could be
damaged.
Only use supplied screws to mount the locks.
Only connect new 9V alkaline battery to the battery clip.

Fix keypad

• Affix the two M4 mounting adapters on the safe door.
• Route the cable through the cable hole.
• Slide the unit on the mounting adapters: the back of the unit must touch the door surface.
• Control cable routing, then push the unit down until it snaps on positively.
• Mount the lock: tighten the screws securely so the lock body is attached firmly to a flat mounting surface
(torque 3.5-5Nm).
• In the locked position, there should be approximately 1mm clearance between the lock bolt and the
cavity in the blocking bar of the boltwork. The lock bolt must move freely into the cavity.
• Insert the connector from the keypad in the outer position (ENT). Connect alarm interfaces, or power
supply interfaces to the other connector (BAT). Check that the connectors are completely seated.
• To remove the connector lift it up and carefully pull it out.
• Open the lock several times before closing the door.

Rotating keypad

• Affix the mounting plate with the two M4 mounting adapters on the safe door as detailed in the picture
below.
• StraightBolt locks are provided with a grooved shaft: it must extend 10mm beyond the mounting
surface.
• Cut the grooved shaft to the appropriate length: to avoid cable damages cable must not interfere with
lock cover, leave a 4mm margin.
• Deburr the shaft to avoid cable damages.
• Insert the grooved shaft, with the cut edge first, all the way into the keypad. Push the cable into groove
until flat over the entire length of the shaft. Ù
• Route cable and shaft through the spindle hole of the door, hold the keypad at an approximately 10:00
o'clock position and slide it on the mounting plate. Turn the keypad clockwise until it clicks into straight
position at 12:00.

  • Page 2 • Make sure the cable is in the groove. Insert the cable connector into the square hole in the bottom of the lock and guide it through the hole in the lock cover. Holding the cable straight, place the lock with the square cavity on the grooved shaft and then screw it to the mounting surface.
