INSTALLING REDUNDANT FAN UNIT
Preparation
1.
Power off the server and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before starting installation.
2.
Remove the side cover and other components according to "Preparing for Installation and Removal"
described in the User's Guide.
Installation
Take the following steps to install the additional fans.
1.
Remove the two screws from the rear fan unit.
2.
Lift the fan, then disconnect the fan cable.
