For the best results and to reduce errors, use proper measurement
techniques:

Remember that skin temperature can be affected by:

Exercise
•
Hot or cold ambient temperature conditions.
•
Objects between the forehead and the thermometer during measurement
•
Do not use the Product when:
•
The Product is outside the distance range of 2 in to 6 in (50 mm to
150 mm) from the forehead.
•
The ambient temperature is outside of the operating range: 59 °F to
104 °F (15 °C to 40 °C)
