To set the guide-blocks within the guide-block
holder:
1.
Loosen the setscrews locking the guide-
blocks in the guide-block holder.
2.
Clearance between the blade and guide-
blocks should be .002" to .004". Place two
pieces of paper between the guide-blocks
and blade as an approximate gauge.
3.
Lock the guide-blocks into position by tight-
ening the setscrews and remove the paper.
4.
Adjust the guide-block holder so the forward
guide-blocks are
lets.
5.
Lock the guide-block assembly in place by
tightening the Allen
LOWER BLADE GUIDE ASSEMBLIES
Adjust the lower blade guide assemblies to the
same tolerances as the upper guide assemblies.
See Figure 13.
1.
Adjust lower bearing to within
rear of the blade.
2.
Adjust lower guide-blocks to within .002" to
.004" from blade sides.
3.
Adjust lower guide-block holder to within
behind blade gullets.
4.
Secure all adjustment knobs and screws.
5.
Make sure blade tracks true. Inspect for any
blade deflection caused by incorrect posi-
tioning of the guide blocks. See Figure 14.
The support bearings should rotate only
under load.
Bandsaw blades are dangerously sharp.
Use extreme caution when adjusting guides
or making any other adjustments which
require handling the bandsaw's blade.

Table Adjustments

The bandsaw table will tilt 10° left and 45° right
from horizontal. There is an adjustable positive
stop so the table can be re-set perpendicular to
the blade after tilting to the right. To tilt the table:
1.
Loosen the two star knobs underneath the
table. See Figure 15.
2.
Position table to the desired angle of tilt.
Refer to the angle gauge on the front table
trunnion.
3.
Re-tighten both star knobs.
If setting table tilt to the left, it will be nec-
essary to remove the positive stop.
