First, take TitroLine KF basic device out of the packing. Set up the TitroLine KF Titrator at any flat surface, and connect the mains plug to the mains socket. After the addition of the sample into the titration vessel you have to wait for a certain period of time before the TitroLine KF Titrator will start with the addition of the KF reagent. This waiting time is necessary either to dissolve the sample or to extract the water from insoluble sample. -

min. titration duration The minimum titration duration is a suitable parameter to be used for samples with which the water can be extracted only slowly. In the case of such samples it makes sense to add KF reagent in order to have the water react away as early as during the extraction. -

Since, as a rule, the sample or the standard will be weighed-in in on an analytical weighing-balance, it makes also a sense to connect this balance to the TitroLine KF Titrator. To be able to connect the bal- ance to one of the TitroLine KF Titrators, the balance has to be equipped with an RS-232-C interface, and a suitably configured connection cable has to be available. -
