Moving data

Deleting a folder

You can move data from one folder to another, or to a memory card (8MB) (for
PlayStation
2) or memory card.

At the HDD screen, select the icon for the folder that holds the data you want
to move, and then press the × (Enter) button.

Select the icon for the data you want to move, and then press the f (Options)
button.
The data management screen will appear.

Select "Move," and then press the × button.

Select the location you want to move the data to using the left and right
directional buttons, and then press the × button.
A confirmation message will appear.

Select "Yes," and then press the × button.
The data is moved.
Depending on where the data is moved, you may have to rename the data.
Note
Some types of data cannot be moved.

In the HDD screen, select the icon for the folder you want to delete, and then
press the f button.
The folder management screen will appear.

Select "Delete," and then press the × button.
A confirmation message will appear.

Select "Yes," and then press the × button.
The folder is deleted.
Note
If the folder contains any data, that data will also be deleted.
