Preparing the HDD
Cartridge

Installing the HDD cartridge

Install the HDD cartridge.
To install the cartridge

Press the HDD cartridge slot cover
OPEN button.
The HDD cartridge slot cover opens.

Insert the HDD cartridge into the HDD
cartridge slot until it clicks into place.

Close the HDD cartridge slot cover.
To remove the cartridge
Always turn off the unit before removing
the HDD cartridge.

Press the HDD cartridge slot cover
OPEN button.
The HDD cartridge slot cover opens.

Press the HDD cartridge eject button.

Remove the HDD cartridge.

Close the HDD cartridge slot cover.

Deleting data

Data on the HDD cartridge is organized by
the date and time at which the data was
copied. When you delete data from the
HDD cartridge, all of the data copied on a
selected date and time is deleted.
To select the partition
Select the partition containing the data you
want to delete.
If only one partition is configured for the
HDD cartridge, or if you want to delete data
from the partition currently selected, you do
not need to select the partition here.
