REPLACING THE SPOOL
1. Remove the battery pack and then push
the tabs on the side of the spool retainer to
remove the trimmer cover.
2. Remove the old spool.
3. To install the new spool, make sure the line
is captured in the slot on the new spool (1).
Install the new spool so that the line and slot
align with the eyelet in the string head (2).
Thread the line into the eyelet (3). Pull the
line extending from the string head so the line
releases from the slot in the spool (4).
4. Reinstall the spool cover by depressing tabs
into slots and pushing down until spool cover
clicks into place.
