Agila Easylift: Setting the movability of the spring arm

WARNING
Danger of personal injury and/or equipment
damage
The spring arm is braked with a pre-setting
and set to the planned nominal load. If the load
is removed and the brake is released after this,
this leads to an accelerated upward
movement of the spring arm.
Before removing the load and releasing the
brake, lock the system, see "Locking the
system" on page 31.
If the Agila Easylift does not exhibit the desired
mobility after all accessories have been added and
all loads are taken into account, the gas spring
must be set.

1 Lock the system to prevent upward movement
by pressing the red key (A) on the control
handle (at least 3 seconds).

2 Take off the lower cover (B) by removing the
screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
3 Adjust the spindle (C) with an 8 mm Allen key as
follows:
– Arm movement too stiff
 Turn counterclockwise.
– Arm movement too loose
 Turn clockwise.
 Press the red key (A) on the control handle (at
least 3 seconds) to unlock the system and
check if the desired ease of arm movement has
been achieved.
– If not:
 Repeat process.
– If yes:
4 Reattach cover.
