Safety measures

Read this instruction manual carefully before using the vacuum cleaner and keep it for the whole operation period. Use the vacuum cleaner according to its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this user manual. Mishandling the vacuum cleaner can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.

To avoid hazard of electric shock, fire or injury follow the rules specified below:

  • Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure that voltage specified on the vacuum cleaner corresponds to your home mains voltage.
  • Always unplug the unit when you don't use it.
  • Do not use the power cord as a handle for carrying the vacuum cleaner, do not close the door if the power cord runs through the doorway and do not let the power cord come in contact with hot surfaces and sharp edges of furniture.
  • Place the vacuum cleaner as close to the wall as possible to avoid damaging the unit in case of dropping.
  • When unplugging the unit pull the plug but not the cord.
  • Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
  • Never block the air outlets on the unit body or insert any foreign objects into them.
  • Keep hair, free hanging clothes, fingers and other parts of your body away from the vacuum cleaner suction opening.
  • Be especially cautious while cleaning the stair landings.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner for collecting of such highly inflammable liquids as gasoline and solvents; do not use the unit in the places where such liquids are stored.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner for collecting water and other liquids, burning or smoking cigarettes, matches, cinders as well as fine dust, for example, plaster, concrete, flour or ashes.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the filters are not installed in the dustbin.
  • Regularly check the power cord and the plug for damages. Do not try to repair the unit by yourself. Contact an authorized service center for all repair issues.
  • For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.

Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

  • Never allow children to use the unit as a toy. Close supervision is necessary when children or disabled persons are near the operating unit.
  • This unit is not intended for usage by children or disabled persons unless they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions by a person who is responsible for their safety on safety measures and information about danger that can be caused by improper usage of the unit.

Assembling of the vacuum cleaner

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature before switching on.

  • Unpack the vacuum cleaner completely and check it for damages. Do not use the unit in case of damages.
  • Before switching the unit on make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to vacuum cleaner operating voltage.
  • To install the handle (1) insert it into the opening on the portable vacuum cleaner body till the clamp (2) clicking.
  • Install the attachment (8, 11 or 12) into the dustbin (7) air inlet. For convenient usage of the small brush (11) and crevice nozzle (12) remove the handle (1) by pressing and holding the clamp (2), when operating the portable vacuum cleaner hold it by the handle (10).

Attachments

Before installing or removing the attachments switch the unit off and unplug it.

Main brush (8)
Use this brush for cleaning smooth floor surfaces and rugs.

Small brush (11)
The small brush (11) is intended for collecting dust from furniture surface, pile prevents the damage of polished furniture surface.

Crevice nozzle (12)
The crevice nozzle (12) is intended for cleaning of radiators, chinks, corners and spaces between cushions.

Operation

  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner near hot surfaces, ashtrays and in the places where inflammable liquids are stored.
  • Take sharp objects away before cleaning to prevent unit damage.
  • Attention! Do not use the vacuum cleaner, if the filters (5 and 6) are not installed in the dustbin (7).
    • To switch the vacuum cleaner on and off move the power switch on the handle (1) or press the on/off button (3) on the portable vacuum cleaner handle (10).

warningNote: - Switch the unit on and off using only one of the two available switches (1 or 3). If you switched the vacuum cleaner on by pressing the button (3), you cannot switch it off using the switch on the handle (1). To switch the unit off press the button (3) on the portable vacuum cleaner handle again.

  • After vacuum cleaner operation switch it off and unplug it.
  • Wind the power cord on the holders (9).

warning Note: - For convenient usage of the vacuum cleaner the upper power cord holder is rotating; for quick removal of the power cord turn the upper holder and release the power cord.

Cleaning and care

Remove dust and garbage from the dustbin (7) and clean the filters (5, 6) after each use of the vacuum cleaner.

Detaching of the dustbin (7) and removing of dust and garbage from it

  • Switch the vacuum cleaner off and unplug it.
  • Remove the installed attachment (8, 11 or 12)
  • Press the clamp (4) and remove the dustbin (7).
  • Place the dustbin (7) above the garbage bin; remove the filter (5).
  • Remove dust and garbage from the dustbin (7). If necessary, wash the dustbin (7) and dry it.
  • Remove the mesh filter (6) from the filter (5) by turning it in the direction of «UNLOCK» arrow. Clean the filter (6)
  • Clean the filter (5) from dirt and dust.
  • You can wash the filter (5) and the mesh filter (6) under a warm water jet; before installing the filters (5 and 6) make sure that they are dry.

warningNotes:

  • Do not wash the filters (5 and 6) in a dish washing machine.
  • Dry the filter (5) and the mesh filter (6) thor oughly before installing them.
  • Do not dry the filters (5 and 6) with a hairdryer.

Assembling of the dustbin

warning Note: - Before assembling and installing the dustbin (7) make sure that the filters (5 and 6) and the dustbin (7) itself are dry.

  • Install the mesh filter (6) into the filter (5) and turn it in the direction of «LOCK» arrow.
  • Insert the filters (5, 6) into the dustbin (7).
  • Install the dustbin (7), until the clamp (4) clicks.

Cleaning the body

  • Clean the vacuum cleaner body (4) with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
  • Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner, the power cord and the plug into water or other liquids.
  • Provide that no water gets inside the vacuum cleaner body.
  • Never use solvents or abrasives to clean the surfaces, parts and attachments.

Storage

  • Before taking the vacuum cleaner away for storage clean its body, the dustbin (7) and the filters (5, 6).
  • For easy storing detach the handle (1), to do this press and hold the clamp button (2).
  • Keep the vacuum cleaner away from children in a dry cool place.
