- Page 7 1. Remove the upper and lower b-pillar trim. To do this, remove the front driver and mid-row passenger rocker panel trims. Remove the b pillar handle and seat belt anchor.
- Page 8 2. Install the b pillar adapter ( EV-F150C18L-02) to the b pillar using the seven provided pop rivets, and then install the pointed allen screw into the b pillar adapter. NOTE: Drill slowly through the high strength steel using a 3/16 drill bit.
- Page 9 3. A ¾-inch hole will have to be drilled in the upper b pillar trim to be able to bolt the ASENTO to the b pillar adaptor. Mark the hole to be drilled by partially installing the upper b pillar trim and hitting it against the pointed allen screw to mark it for drilling.
- Page 10 4. Reinstall the trim. 5. Run the power from the battery to the ASENTO. To do this, thread the red power cable (+) under the doorstep moulding and through the firewall. Make sure you pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing.
- Page 11 6. The lower b pillar trim will have to be cut and modified with the provided stencils to allow clearance for the ASENTO.
- Page 12 7. Remove the left rear seat bolt and the two seat belt pre-tensioner bolts. Install the ASENTO floor adapter ( EV-F150C18L-01) under the seat belt roller, reinstall the seat belt pre-tensioner and rear seat mounting using the OEM bolts. Tighten down all the bolts. Reinstall the lower seat trim.
- Page 13 8. Install the ASENTO on to the floor adapter using the 3/8"-16 x 1"1/4 bolt and washer, and to the b pillar adapter using the 3/8-16 x 1''1/4 bolt and washer. Tighten down all the bolts.
- Page 14 9. Install the transfer board onto the ASENTO by sidling it onto the round rod, use a little grease on the rod. Install the security handle using the provided shoulder bolt and nut.
- Page 15 10. Connect the ASENTO control box to the ASENTO . Connect the control box to the pendant and to the 12-volt power supply. Then attach the control box under the seat in a place where it cannot be damaged by the movements of the seat. Place the hand pendant in a place convenient to the client.

Page 16: Final Inspection
Make sure that ASENTO works well with and without a passenger. Make sure the door closes properly. (Note: It is normal for the ASENTO to touch the door panel trim.) NOTE: The surface must be clean, dry and at ambient temperature for the sticker to stick to the surface.
