- Page 7 2. Install the b pillar adapter ( EV-EXP20R-02) to the b pillar using the eight provided pop rivets, align as per the photos. Center the adapter on the b-pillar and slide up against the plastic stoppers of the upper b-...
- Page 8 3. A ¾-inch hole will have to be drilled in the lower b pillar trim to be able to bolt the ASENTO to the b pillar adaptor. Then install the pointed allen screw into the b pillar adapter. Mark the hole to be drilled by partially installing the lower b pillar trim and hitting it against the pointed allen screw to mark it for drilling.
- Page 9 5. The lower b-pillar trim will have to be cut and modified with the provided stencil to allow clearance for the ASENTO. 6. Unplug and remove the seat belt pre-tensioner, it will be relocated to the ASENTO floor adapter. And also remove the pre-tensioner bracket.
- Page 10 7. Unbolt the seat belt roller, and the rear left hand side seat bolt. Install the provided floor adapter EXP20R-01, to the rear left seat bolt mounting using the OEM bolt and reinstall the seat belt roller through the floor adapter to the OEM bolthole, and tighten down both bolts. 8.
- Page 11 9. Reinstall the modified b pillar trim. EV-EXP20-03 to the ASENTO using the provided 3/8 x1’’ bolt and washer. Do 10. Install the fixing arm not tighten at this step.

Install the ASENTO on to the floor adapter using the 3/8x1’’1/4 bolt and flat washer, and to the b- pillar adapter using the 3/8x1’’ bolt and flat washer, tighten down all the bolts. 12. - Page 13 13. Install the transfer board onto the ASENTO by sidling it onto the round rod, use a little grease on the rod. Install the security handle using the provided shoulder bolt and nut.
- Page 14 14. Connect the ASENTO control box to the ASENTO . Connect the control box to the pendant and to the 12-volt power supply. Then attach the control box under the seat in a place where it cannot be damaged by the movements of the seat. Place the hand pendant in a place convenient to the client.

Make sure that ASENTO works well with and without a passenger. Make sure the door closes properly. (Note: It is normal for the ASENTO to touch the door panel trim.) NOTE: The surface must be clean, dry and at ambient temperature for the sticker to stick to the surface.
