Severity
Causes
The grid voltage is higher
than the allowed range.
Cause ID = 28
There is large difference in
grid voltage among the
three phases.
Cause ID = 29
1. The power grid
experiences an outage.
2. The AC circuit is
disconnected or AC
switch is OFF.
Cause ID = 31/32/33
The impedance of the
output phase wire A (cause
ID = 31)/B (cause ID =
32)/C (cause ID = 33) to the
PE cable is low or
short-circuited.
Major
Cause ID = 2
The actual grid frequency is
higher than the standard
requirement for the local
power grid.
Cause ID = 4

Measures
power operator.
3. If the alarm persists for a long
time, check that the AC circuit
breaker and output cables of the
SUN2000 are properly
connected.
Cause ID = 16/19/26
1. Check whether the grid-tied point
voltage is too high. If it is,
contact your local power
operator.
2. If the grid-tied point voltage is
higher than the allowed range,
change the overvoltage and
undervoltage protection points
after obtaining approval from the
local power operator.
3. Check whether the grid voltage
peak is too high.
Cause ID = 28
1. The SUN2000 monitors its
external working conditions in
real time and automatically
reverts to normal operating status
after the fault is rectified.
2. If the alarm persists and affects
the energy yield of the power
station, contact the local power
operator.
Cause ID = 29
1. Check whether the AC voltage is
normal.
2. Check that the AC power cable is
securely connected and that the
AC switch is ON.
Cause ID = 31/32/33
Check the impedance of output
phase wire A (cause ID = 31)/B
(cause ID = 32)/C (cause ID = 33) to
the PE cable and locate the position
with lower impedance and resolve
the issue.
Cause ID = 2/4
1. If the alarm occurs accidentally,
it is possible that there is an
accidental grid abnormality. The
SUN2000 automatically reverts
to normal operating status after
the fault is rectified.
