Select one of the six special effects for shooting. The effect is applied to pictures
during shooting.
Display the shooting screen _ I_1 (shooting mode) button -'_ S0 (the third icon from the
top _) -'_ i_ -'_ Select the effect (_]]26, 27)
The last icon you selected is displayed. The default setting is SO (Soft).
• The camera focuses on the subject at the center area
of the frame.
Characteristics of Each Special Effect

SO Soft Soften the image by adding a slight blur to the overall image. _¢
Add a sepia tone and reduce the contrast to simulate the qualities
SE Nostalgic sepia of an old photograph.
[] monochromeHigh-c°ntrast Change the image to black and white and gives it sharp contrast.
m l High key Give the overall image a bright tone.
hO Low key Give the overall image a darktone.
Create a black and white image in which only the specified color
Selective color
remains.
• When Selective color is set, select a color that you
want to retain using the multi selector • or V.
To adjust tile following settings, press tile _) button
to temporarily cancel color selection, and then adjust
each setting.

To return to the color selection screen, press the _) button again.
