Input power (mains) voltage adaptation.
The BV 1609 - R90002070/R90002071 leaves the factory to operate on a power (mains) input of 230 Vac.
The BV 1609 - R90002079/R90002078 leaves the factory to operate on a power (mains) input of 120 Vac.
