  • Page 47 992 A LIMINATOR WNER PERATOR ANUAL 5.1.5. Within the AirSep chamber, a variable airflow lifts the mixed material, causing it to stratify according to the density of the individual constituents. When properly adjusted, the airflow will lift the product to the middle strata, floating it above the Grid Shaker, and below the Trash Conveyor.
  • Page 48 992 A LIMINATOR WNER PERATOR ANUAL Conveyor. The change in airflow direction, combined with the lower pressure as the air approaches the exit points, deposits the waste material onto the Trash Conveyor. (See Figure 45) Trash Conveyor Pivot Point. Trash Conveyor (Maximum Elevation). Trash Conveyor (Minimum Elevation).
  • Page 49: Startup/Shutdown Sequence Checklists

992 A LIMINATOR WNER PERATOR ANUAL 5.1.10. The product, being less dense than the rocks and clods, but denser than the lightest debris, floats on the air cushion in the mid-range strata. While the directed airflow provides some forward motion in the AirSep chamber, the greatest moving force comes from the continuous material feed.
  • Page 50: Abbreviated Startup When Hydraulic Control Valves Are Set To Operate

992 A LIMINATOR WNER PERATOR ANUAL IMPORTANT: Starting the Blower Fan before the Hydraulic Pump, provides the gentlest handling for any residual product in the AirSep chamber. However, in order for the Rock Gate to open automatically, start the Hydraulic Pump before the Blower Fan reaches the Blower Fan Minimum Operating Speed Setpoint.
