TROUBLESHOOTING
- 1 BOARD
- This refrigerator uses the BLDC Fan Motor.
- The BLDC Motor operates with DC 7~12V.
- The C-Fan motor generally runs together with the compressor.
▶ When checking with the Self Diagnosis
ERROR CODE
Upon the initial power on, the
compressor and the C-Fan operate.
And, this function starts operating
when the compressor is about to run
right after an instant power outage.
◆Note : C-FAN Operations by Ambient Temperature
1. 29℃/84°F or higher : Turns on after a 10 minute
pause when the Compressor starts operating.
2. 18℃/64‎ ° F~28℃/82°F : Turns on immediately
when the Compressor starts operating.
3. 18℃/64‎ ° F or higher : Turns off after a minute
when the Compressor stops operating.
4. 17℃/62‎ ° F or lower : Turns on when the
Compressor starts operating. (But, the C-FAN
turns on when the C-FAN is detected as being
restricted for an hour continually).
5. 17℃/62‎ ° F or lower : Turns off (for up to 150
minutes) when the Compressor stops operating.

Start
The Compressor is Off.
It reads DC7~12 between
MAIN PCB GND and CN30 #20.
Apply power in 7 minutes
after turning the motor off.
(To prevent the compressor
from being overloaded)
Does it read DC7~12V
(between MAIN PCB GND
and CN30 #20) and lower than DC 2V
(between MAIN PCB GND
and CN30 #22)?
◆ Possible Causes
① Defective FAN-MOTOR
② Contact problem at the terminal (MAIN PCB CONNECTOR-
TERMINAL [CN30 #18,#20,#22], Contact problem at C-Fan
Motor Connector, Defective Motor Wire)
③ Check the motor rotating pulse input upon Fan Motor
operation. (Refer to Fan-Motor Circuit in this manual)
