Child Safety Instructions

-
Only use the appliance in the presence of an adult
-
Never allow children to play with this appliance
-
Cleaning and maintenance must only be performed by an adult

Tips for Maximum Extraction Performance

-
Position your cooking pan in such a way that the rising steam and
fumes are kept within the extraction area of the cooker hood
-
Avoid any type of draught over the hob surface
-
You must comply with the minimum distance between the cooker
hood and the hob surface For an electrical hob, this minimum
distance is 60cm, and 75cm for a gas hob It is certainly strictly for-
bidden to install the cooker hood above the hob at a distance of less
than 55cm. This increases the risk of the grease filters catching fire!

What To Do in the Event of a Technical Fault

-
If the appliance develops a technical fault, please contact the Vend-
uro service department
-
Tip: Reset the cooker hood. You can do this by simply switching off
the power to the appliance for a minimum of 30 seconds

Air Supply and Discharge

-
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation, especially if there is other
equipment simultaneously extracting air from the room where the
cooker hood is installed
-
Regardless of the size of the kitchen, the cooker hood can only
process the volume of air available in the kitchen The cooker hood
cannot operate at maximum efficiency if there is no or insufficient
ventilation This can be remedied by keeping a door or window
slightly open
-
It is important to pay careful attention to the discharge connection
-
DO NOT reduce the air discharge section! For all types a diame-
ter of Ø150, unless fitted with an external motor having a diameter
of Ø150, Ø200, Ø250, Ø315 and Ø350
-
The air discharge must certainly NOT be ducted by discharge duc-
ting that is already used to discharge fumes or vapours generated
by appliances that are not powered by electricity
-
Install the cooker hood as close as possible to the discharge ducting
and use as few bends as possible This ensures maximum extracti-
on efficiency.
