SPRING ARM ADJUSTMENT
Move spring arm to a higher notch on spring assist
control arm to increase float. Move spring arm to a
lower notch if Sno-Thro does not scrape clean on
packed snow.
Unit
Run with attachment engaged a few minutes after each
use to free unit of any loose or melting snow.
Inspect unit for visible signs of wear, breakage or
damage. Order any parts required and make
necessary repairs to avoid delays when beginning use
again.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight and know unit is in
safe working condition. Check all hardware at regular
intervals.

2. Auger/Impeller frozen.

LIFT LINKS
Lift links on both sides of tractor have three holes that
provide various float modes. Top hole is for maximum
down float, center hole is for normal float and bottom
hole is for maximum up float.

STORAGE

Clean unit thoroughly and lubricate (see Maintenance).
Paint all scratched surfaces and store in a cool, dry
protected area.
IMPORTANT: NEVER spray unit with water or store
unit outdoors.
Remove weight from wheels by putting blocks under
frame or axle.
CORRECTION
1. Put PTO switch in engaged position.
2. Take unit to a heated area to thaw.
See your authorized Ariens dealer to add the
additional accessories available to your Sno-Thro.
