1. Unfold the base stand and place the curling tong on a flat,
smooth, non-heat-sensitive surface.

2. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
3. Hold the on/off switch down for 1 second to switch on the

curling tong (Fig. 2). An acoustic signal will sound and the
LCD display will illuminate. The preset operating tempera-

ture is identical to your previous setting.
4. Select the desired temperature (80 °C – 210 °C) (Fig. 3).

· Tapping can adjust the temperature in 5 °C steps.

5. Switch off the curling tong after use. To do this, hold the

Operation
Tips for successful styling
Warning! Burning hazards due to incorrect
handling.
f Only hold the curling tong at the cool tip and
the handle.
f Never touch the scalp with the hot curling tong.
f Always carry out a test on an individual section
of hair first.
1. Wash and rinse the hair well.
2. Dry the hair.
3. Brush or comb the hair.
4. Divide the hair into 2 cm thick and 4 cm wide sections.
5. Open the tong (Fig. 4) and place the tip of the hair section
on the heating element.
6. Close the tong. Hold the curling tong at the cool tip and
the handle, and curl the hair as desired. Ensure that the
hair is pulled taut.
7. For looser curls, leave the hair wrapped around the tong
for about 20 seconds.
8. Release the hair by gently rotating in the opposite
direction.
9. Open the tong and carefully pull the heating element off
the curl.
10. Repeat this process until the desired result has been
achieved.
11. The hair can be combed as soon as all curls have cooled
down.

Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to
incorrect handling.
f Switch off the curling tong before cleaning them
or performing any maintenance. Disconnect the
curling tong from the power supply.
f Allow the curling tong to cool down completely.
