Can I use my blender to liquefy other types of items?
No, to avoid damage to the blender of your Frappé coffee maker, we recommend
only using it to prepare frappé coffee beverages.
Why does the ICED coffee still brew HOT?
The coffee maker for iced coffee works through a regular drip coffee extraction
method; that is, the coffee is prepared directly in the glass with ice, in this way it
is cooled little by little until it is with the perfect consistency for an iced coffee of a
delicious flavor.
Coffee has to be prepared first before it can cool down; therefore, the coffee maker
does NOT prepare iced coffee but prepares regular hot coffee and pours it directly
into the glass with ice to make it iced later after it cools in the glass.
My Frappé didn't blend properly, what's wrong?
Sorry about this! There could be a few causes for this:
1. There might be too much ice. Only add ice to the line on the blender jar. When
using smaller sized ice cubes, you may need to use slightly less ice.
2. There might not be enough liquid. Ensure that water is filled to the water line
before pouring into the reservoir or try adding more milk to improve consistency.
3. There might not be any sugar to help consistency while blending. We have
found that syrup or sugar of some form greatly helps blending texture and
consistency. Try one of our favorite recipes in the included recipe book!
The
button didn't blend my Frappé all the way, what should I do?
If you desire additional blending, simply press the
blender will pulse as you hold down the button.
My iced or hot coffee isn't strong enough for my taste – what now?
No problem – everyone's tastes are different! Try adding an extra ½ - 1 scoop of
coffee grounds to the reusable filter for a bolder cup of coffee.
Is the tumbler dishwasher safe?
No, the tumbler, lid and straw should be hand-washed only.
Why is there no ice left in my cup after brewing iced coffee?
Try using bigger ice cubes when making your iced coffee – these will melt slower
and give you ice in your drink for longer! Also be sure you have filled your tumbler
all the way to the "ICE" marking.
Why are there coffee grounds in my coffee?
You may have over-filled your reusable coffee filter with coffee grounds, and they
could have spilled over the top. Although this is uncommon, try using a little less
grounds next time and that should solve this problem!
Can I use a different tumbler or cup for making iced coffee?
Sure thing! Just ensure you keep the same ratio of water-ground-ice to create the
best tasting iced coffee!
