How to use TERAL Disposer DSP-125H
Throw in the garbage.
Do not stick your fingers in beyond the joint guard at the time of throwing in the garbage.
Do not bring a magnet close to the
vicinity of the garbage inlet or
sensor. Malfunction may result.

ON
OFF
To prevent clogging of the drain, let the water flow for about 10 seconds
before turning off the faucet.
WARNING
Do not stick
your fingers in!
WARNING
Open the faucet for a water flow of about 8 liters/minute
(stream about the size of your thumb).
If the flow is too small, garbage may remain in the disposer and cause
a foul odor. It may also cause clogging of the drain pipe.
CAUTION
Do not use hot water having a temperature of 60℃ or higher continuously.
It may deform or deteriorate the drain pipe.
Set the cap to the ON position and fit it to the garbage inlet.
An electronic buzzer sounds and operation starts.
If not capped tightly, the disposer will not operate. When operation begins, a crushing sound starts.
When an appropriate amount of approximately 8 liters/minute water has flowed, water will collect at
the top of the cap and it will be difficult for the grinding sound to leak out.
CAUTION
When the disposer makes a metallic sound or a very loud sound during operation, immediately stop
operation by turning the cap to the OFF position. Continuing operation may damage the disposer.
When the disposer operating sound becomes quiet, stop
operation by turning the cap from the ON to the OFF position.
The disposer will cease running in about 1 minute without turning the cap until [△ ] on the pinch points to [OFF]. If
any garbag e is remain inside , try adding about 5 ice cubes to the garbag e next time. Treatmen t should become
easier. When the disposer stops running automatically by the timer, the beeps (pi,pi,pi) will CAUTION the stop.
WARNING
Do not put your hands in the inlet until the spinning stops completely. Injury may result.
When not using the disposer, set the cap to the OFF position.
WARNING
There is a possibility where flow of wastewater is inferior if the cover is kept in the [ON] position.
Drain the water in the tub at a burst around once a week.
This is effective especially when egg shells are being drained.
CAUTION
On draining the stored water, take off the cap of the disposer.
CAUTION
Do not push in garbage of a large
volume. The motor may fail, if garbage
of an excessive volume is pushed in.
CAUTION
Metal, porcelain, wood, plastic, rubber,
vinyl, paper and cigarette butts cannot be
joint guard
treated. Never throw in these substances.
