How to use the garbage disposer DSP-100H-AWS
Please read the separate User s Manual carefully before use.

Drop food waste into the garbage disposer.

Insert the plug switch in the disposer opening.

Turn the plug switch to the right to turn ON.
●
Turn the plug switch until its △ marking
aligns with the ON position. The
buzzer will sound a beep and water
supply from the combination faucet will
start automatically. After 5 seconds,
the disposer will start operation.
If a metal clank or a very loud sound is heard during
operation, immediately turn the plug switch Warning
Caution
left, to the OFF position, to stop the operation.

After running water for approximately 5
seconds, turn the plug switch to the right to ON.

If a metal clank or a very loud sound is heard
during use, immediately turn the plug switch left to
Warning
the OFF position and cease operation.
How to clean
(ice cleaning)

sufficiently eliminate odors or
dirt, clean the interior according
to the procedures in pages 19 -
20 of the User s Manual.
※If foreign objects enter the grinding chamber of the garbage disposer, remove them, following the procedures in page 14 of the User s Manual.
In this case, do not force

a large amount of food
waste into the disposer.

line illustrated below.

waste. Check the list
on the back carefully.

Place it with the △ marking
aligned with the OFF position
of the disposer opening.
Turn the plug switch until the △

position. A buzzer will sound and
the garbage disposer starts.
Drop 5 or 6 ice

pour a few drops of mild
kitchen detergent, lemon
juice or vinegar into the

disposer is automatically stopped by the timer,

it may cause poor drainage.

Flush the garbage disposer all at
once with water collected in a washing-
up bowl or a pot approximately two
to three times a week. This will clean
the drain pipe.
Remove the plug switch of the disposer to drain
collected water. After draining collected water, make
sure that no foreign objects have dropped in the

grinding chamber and insert the plug switch so that
its △ marking aligns with the OFF position.
