When the noise level from the disposer drops, stop running the
disposer by removing the cover.
Crushing of garbage is now complete. The disposer will cease running in about one minute even if the
cover is not removed. If any garbage is remaining inside, try adding about five ice cubes to the garbage
next time. Treatment should become easier.
5
To prevent the piping from blocking, keep supplying water for about ten
seconds after running of the disposer has terminated by removing the cover.

WARNING
WARNING
Do not stick
your fingers in!
Open the water faucet and supply water at the
rate of about 8 liters per minute (about the size
of a little finger).
If the water flow is insufficient, the garbage will
remain in the disposer and an offensive odor will be
produced. Blockage of the piping may also result.
CAUTION
Fit the cover at the inlet in the "ON" position. The
disposer will start running two seconds later.
The disposer will not run unless the cap is firmly fitted. Breaking sound ga, ga, ...
is produced when running begins. If water is flowing at about eight liters per
minute, which is an appropriate rate, water will soon be accumulated above the
cover and leakage of the breaking sound will become minor.
WARNING
If a metallic sound or other extremely noticeable sound is recognized during operation, stop
running the disposer by removing the cover. The disposer may fail if running is continued.
Keep the cover in the "OFF" position while the
disposer is not used.
There is a possibility where flow of wastewater is inferior if the cover is kept in the
"ON" position.
CAUTION
Do not push in garbage of a
large volume. The motor may
fail, if garbage of an excessive
volume is pushed in.
CAUTION
Metal, porcelain, wood, plastics,
rubber, paper and cigarette
butts cannot be treated. Never
joint guard
throw in these substances.
See the reverse side for details.
Do not continuously supply hot water of
60
(165
). Deformation and
deterioration of the piping may result.
